Fred C. Newmeyer, Hal Roach / Pathé, 1921. Harold Lloyd's first feature-length picture. Lloyd as an idle rich boy who joins the navy to win Mildred Davis, then wanders into a Ruritanian palace plot. Silent, about four reels (roughly forty-five minutes). Roach stretching the glasses character past two reels without changing the engine: pursuit, mistaken identity, a chase.
