A sixty-minute Monogram Western from Trem Carr, directed by Harry L. Fraser, one of the Bill Cody-Andy Shuford pairings that filled the bottom half of Depression double bills. A drunken rancher is tricked by a saloon gambler into signing away his ranch and then shot. His friend Bill Denton takes in the dead man's boy, turns stage robber to buy the ranch back, and hunts the gambler down. Pre-Code, brisk, and unpretentious: a Poverty Row oater that does exactly what it came to do.
