Directed by Lupino Lane
A drunk in evening dress takes a box at the Palace, a boy in the next box makes trouble, and on stage the acrobats, the dancers, the strongman and the soprano come and go, and all of them are Lupino Lane, through multiple exposure and a great deal of running between set-ups. The trick is the film, and Lane, an acrobat from an English music-hall family, has the range of bodies to carry it off. His brother Wallace assists. Two reels, from the last months in which a comedy like this could be made without a microphone in the way. Educational Pictures, 1929.
