Faces of Children

A boy loses his mother, gets a stepmother and a stepsister, and does something to the stepsister in the snow that he cannot take back. Jean Forest, a boy Jacques Feyder found in Montmartre, carries it, and his face at the funeral is the film: a picture about a child, played by one, with no lesson attached. Shot in the Swiss Alps, 1925, one hundred and fourteen minutes.
