Richard Wallace and Stan Laurel, Hal Roach, 1926. Theda Bara, out of the vampire brand, in a two-reel spy farce with Oliver Hardy and James Finlayson. Silent short. Bara as a widow whose papers everyone wants; Laurel (co-director and co-writer) treating her legend as a prop. Footage reused later in 45 Minutes from Hollywood. Roach comedy, not a Fox comeback. The mystery is who still thinks she is dangerous.
