Edna's father wants her to marry a count, so Charlie impersonates the count at dinner, and the dinner is the film: table manners used as a weapon, the first of many times. Then the real count arrives and there is a car chase to a pier, with the pursuers going in. Chaplin at Essanay, 1915, two reels, shot around San Francisco.
