Curly is sworn in, and the hat, the Bible and the clerk's hand get tangled for a minute and a half. The Stooges are witnesses at a murder trial where their friend Gail Tempest, a dancer at the club where they play, is accused of killing a man named Kirk Robin; Larry plays the violin, Curly dances, and a parrot walks off with a gun. The copyright lapsed and the film has circulated freely for decades, which is why it is the Stooge short most people have seen. Jack White directs under the name Preston Black.
