Habeas Corpus

Laurel and Hardy, 1928, Hal Roach: a scientist (Richard Carle) hires them to rob a grave. Directed by James Parrott. The night, the cop, the butler who is not a butler. Two reels of a cemetery that will not stay still. It is the short in which they are already a pair (Stan's panic, Ollie's dignity), and the corpse is a prop that keeps almost being a person. Silent, just before sound would make the same idea louder.
