Linda Randolph goes up a jungle river to the court of Marudu to bring back her husband, who has become the prince's drunken physician, and the prince wants her. A volcano, crocodiles in the moat, a palace of studio bamboo. It would rest there as a standard jungle melodrama if Joseph Cornell had not bought a print, cut it down to Rose Hobart's gestures and the crocodiles, and released it in 1936 as Rose Hobart.
