Directed by Buster Keaton, Donald Crisp
Keaton, with Donald Crisp credited, 1924. He and Kathryn McGuire are left alone on an ocean liner meant for hundreds. Metro released it. The gags are scale: a kitchen built for a crew, a deck that will not end, breakfast served with a block and tackle. The diving-suit reel was shot in a tank. It was his biggest money picture of the silent period.
