The first time Laurel and Hardy share a screen, 1921, years before they were a team. Stan is a penniless dog lover; Ollie is a crook who tries to rob him. Jess Robbins directed for Sun-Lite. A two-reeler that history overrates as a beginning and underrates as a short. They are not yet a pair, just two comics in the same frame. The dog is the title. The accident is the future.
