A scientist builds a remote-controlled man, a gang led by a woman named Mado steals the plans and builds her own, and two robots fight in an opera house. Italian science fiction with the automaton as a costume, six years before Maria in Metropolis. André Deed, the French comic Cretinetti, plays the comedy and directed, in Milan in 1921. About eighty minutes were made; a fragment survives.
