Alan Crosland directed. The first feature released with a Vitaphone score and sound effects, and no spoken dialogue: the orchestra is on the disc, the actors are still silent, and the sword fights are cut to it. Mary Astor is Adriana; Estelle Taylor is Lucrezia Borgia.
