Mary Magdalene enters in a chariot pulled by zebras, and the film goes on to the Passion, the earthquake at the crucifixion, and a Resurrection in two-strip Technicolor. Spectacle and reverence in the same reel, which is the DeMille contract in one film. H. B. Warner is Jesus, with titles from scripture. 1927, one hundred and fifty-five minutes.
