Directed by Howard Hawks
Howard Hawks, 1928, Fox: Victor McLaglen as a sailor with a girl in every port, Robert Armstrong as his pal, and Louise Brooks, in a small part, as the one who breaks the pattern. Hawks already directing men as a sport and women as the score. Silent, late, a buddy picture before he named the genre. Brooks is on screen briefly and is what you remember. The ports are interchangeable. She is not.
